Online course · Eight weeks · Begins Nov 4

Some part of you is doing too much.

AwakeningThrough theChakras

The one who speaks up so the silence does not get awkward. The one who holds it together because somebody has to.

That part is not your personality. It is covering for somewhere else in you that went quiet a long time ago.

The seven centers are a map of those places, and there are two versions of that map in the world. One is ancient. One is about a hundred years old. Most people are handed the second and told it is the first.

Over eight weeks we teach you both, and you find out which parts of you are carrying and which ones went quiet.

8 weeks · live via Zoom · recordings included · small cohort

The big idea

Two maps of the same body

The person who cannot stop explaining themselves is usually not working with a voice problem. The ground underneath them does not feel safe, so the voice is up there negotiating for a safety it was never built to provide.

That is what the seven centers are for. They are places in you, stacked, and they lend each other strength. When one cannot hold its own weight, the ones nearby take it on, for years, until the carrying becomes what you think of as your personality.

So you go looking for a map of those places, and you find one. The throat chakra is blue and governs self expression. Something in you recognizes it, and it works.

Then you read a classical source and vishuddha has sixteen petals, a circle, a whole structure of its own, and no blue anywhere.

Both are real. The classical system was built for liberation. The rainbow system was built in the twentieth century to map the body onto Western developmental psychology, and it is genuinely good at that.

What causes the confusion is being handed the second one and told it is the first.

We teach both, side by side, for eight weeks. One tells you what each center is. The other tells you what it is doing in your life right now. You need both to find where the weight is landing.

Same seven places in the body. Two different maps of them.

“That was my second time attending, and once again I walked away with so much. Each time has been super powerful for me, and I continue to feel nourished, inspired, and more deeply connected afterward.

I really appreciate the way you both guide the space with so much integrity. You have a gift for speaking about tantra in a way that feels grounded, approachable, and genuinely applicable to everyday life. Thank you!”

The map

Two maps. Seven centers. Eight weeks.

That is the whole shape of it, and by the end it will be yours to work with.

2

Two maps

One built for liberation, one built for psychology. They answer different questions, and knowing which you are holding is most of the work.

7

Seven centers

Each gets a full week, read twice. What the tradition says it is, and what it is doing in your life right now.

8

Eight weeks

The first is spent on where this map came from and where you are starting from. Everything after that lands on what you find in week one.

What you’ll walk away with

A map that holds up

Where the weight is landing

A clear sense of which part of you is overworking and what it has been quietly covering for. For most people this is the thing that reframes twenty years of effort.

Two systems, clearly

A clean line between the classical system and the modern one, so you always know which you are working in and stop asking one of them questions it was never designed for.

The actual source material

The petal structure and geometry of each center, taught properly. This is the part almost every modern course leaves out, and it is why so much chakra work stays vague.

Practices of your own

Something for each center you can do alone on a Tuesday morning in your kitchen, without needing a teacher in the room.

Grounded confidence

Enough underneath you to talk about this in front of people without hedging, whether you teach, facilitate, or just want to stop nodding along.

01 / 08

Week one · Wednesday Nov 4

The map behind the map

The history

Where the seven center system comes from, and where it splits into two. The classical sources, the 1918 English translation that carried them west, and the 1927 Theosophist book that gave us the rainbow.

What it gives you

You leave able to place any chakra chart, book or course you meet, including the ones you have already paid for. Then we find your own starting point: which centers you live in, which you visit, and which have been quiet so long you assumed that was just how you are built.

02 / 08

Week two · Wednesday Nov 11

Muladhara

The classical reading

Four petals and a yellow square. Not red. The classical grounding practice and what it was actually built to do.

The modern layer

Safety is not a feeling you decide to have. When the root does not have it, everything above works overtime to make up the difference. The over-explaining, the over-planning, the inability to rest without first earning it. This is where that starts.

03 / 08

Week three · Wednesday Nov 18

Svadhisthana

The classical reading

Six petals and a white crescent. The tantric pleasure body, and why pleasure was treated as a path rather than a reward.

The modern layer

Most people did not lose their capacity for pleasure. They learned to stop taking it seriously, and sensation got sorted into useful and indulgent. We open that file again, slowly. Pleasure here is information about where you are still living.

04 / 08

Week four · Wednesday Nov 25

Manipura

The classical reading

Ten petals and a downward triangle. Fire as the transforming force, and what the classical texts meant by will.

The modern layer

This is the center everyone tries to fix first, usually by pushing harder. Fire with nothing to burn turns into control. We look at what your will is made of, where it came from, and whether it is yours or something you inherited.

05 / 08

Week five · Wednesday Dec 2

Anahata

The classical reading

Twelve petals and a hexagram. Described as smoke grey in the classical sources, not green. Devotion treated as a technology rather than a mood.

The modern layer

The heart is the center people arrive wanting to work on and the one that leans hardest on everything underneath it. An open heart on ground that does not feel safe is just exposure, and your system knows it, which is why it closes. Attachment, rupture, and repair.

06 / 08

Week six · Wednesday Dec 9

Vishuddha

The classical reading

Sixteen petals and a circle. Sound as a real instrument, and what it was understood to do to the person making it.

The modern layer

Most of us have a voice we use and a voice we have. The one we use is quick, agreeable, and running slightly ahead of us. This week you slow it down and find what is underneath, in your own room, with nobody listening.

07 / 08

Week seven · Wednesday Dec 16

Ajna

The classical reading

Two petals and a downward triangle. Subtle perception as something trained in stages, with actual stages rather than vague encouragement.

The modern layer

Intuition gets treated as a gift you either have or do not. It behaves far more like a muscle, and it works badly when the rest of the system is shouting. By now the centers below have stopped borrowing from each other, and this one gets noticeably more accurate.

08 / 08

Week eight · Wednesday Dec 23

Sahasrara

The classical reading

A thousand petals in three concentric rings. Liberation as the classical sources describe it, which is more specific and stranger than the word suggests.

The modern layer

The last week is the one that cannot be forced, which is why it is last. By now the column holds its own weight and the centers have stopped paying each other’s debts. What opens then is a kind of rest most people have not had in a very long time. Nondual awakening in plain, embodied language, and what it does not mean.

Who this is for

This is for you if

I

You have done real work on yourself and something still feels like it is holding.

II

You know the names of the chakras and you have never once actually felt one.

III

One part of you does most of the work, and you are tired in a way that sleep does not touch.

IV

You want spiritual depth without new age vagueness, and you have been burned by one or the other.

V

You teach or hold space for people, and you want to work with this rather than describe it.

About us

Ben & Larinda

Together, Ben and Larinda bring an unusually practical and grounded approach to material that often gets taught in abstract or overly esoteric ways.

Ben Raya

Ben Raya

Men’s coach · Embodiment practitioner

Ben spent the first half of his adult life in his head, successful by most measures, but disconnected from his body, his emotions, and the people closest to him.

That changed when his second daughter was born. Her arrival cracked something open in him, and he spent the next ten years doing the deep work he had been avoiding, studying the mechanics of human connection, learning what actually creates presence, and understanding the dynamics that either draw people together or slowly pull them apart.

He now teaches these principles alongside his work as a men’s coach and embodiment practitioner. His background spans classical study, somatic practice, dance, and music, all of which inform how he teaches the rhythm and dynamic of human relationships.

Larinda Michelle

Larinda Michelle

Relational dynamics · Somatics · Trauma-informed

Larinda spent 20 years producing events, from music festivals to large scale community experiences. In that work she developed a rare skill: the ability to hold space for large groups of people and build genuine connection in rooms full of strangers.

When she began her own journey of healing and self understanding, she trained formally in relational dynamics, somatics, and trauma informed facilitation. She has been working closely with clients for the past four years, helping people understand their patterns in relationships and rebuild connections from the inside out.

Before you book

Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior tantra or yoga experience?

No. Both streams are taught from the ground up. If you have practiced before, you will spend the first week putting what you already know somewhere useful.

Are you saying the rainbow chakras are wrong?

No. It is a twentieth century Western system with real uses, and we teach it properly as its own thing. What we will not do is present it as ancient when it is not. Knowing where each idea came from makes both more useful, not less.

Will this contradict what I already know about the chakras?

It will give what you know a clearer home, alongside the older system it grew out of. Most people find the pieces stop floating around and start sitting somewhere.

I already know the chakras. Is this going to cover old ground?

The names, probably. The rest, no. Most chakra material stops at description. This course is about working with them, which is a different activity, and it is the part that usually gets skipped.

Do I need a partner for this course?

No. This is inner work and the online format is built for practicing on your own. What changes in you will show up in your relationships without anyone else needing to be in the room.

How intimate do the practices get?

There is no nudity and no genital touch at any of our events. This course is solo practice: breath, sound, attention and movement, done in your own space.

Is this a substitute for therapy?

No. This is a contemplative and educational course, not clinical treatment. It sits alongside therapy well, and many people do both.

What if I miss a live session?

Every session is recorded and sent within 24 hours. Recordings stay available for the life of the course.

Do I need to have taken Intro to Tantra first?

No. There is no prerequisite and the two courses cover different ground. Either one stands on its own.
